YOU HAVE TO DECIDE #poetry by jay

Black and white portrait

But you mean so much to me,

honestly,

I find comfort in your touch,

in your words,

don’t forget to laugh

and hold the silent meaning

of our gaze, still, close

to your breast,

and take care of yourself

your well-being is

important to me

you must never forget

how much we clawed

to get to this moment, where

we found each other by chance

and by lust,

we lay here, bare- open- fragile

sullen from our love,

beaten by our journey,

I am yours

and, you have to decide

if you too,

will be yours,

not mine.
