TITANIUM WHITE #poetry by jay

Orange sky
Paint the sky bitter orange
with chocolate

the clouds mourn
the darkness

paint the clouds
pink cotton ball
fluffs

of bright poppies

the red bleeds out
in titanium white
strokes

stroked out on cadmium

chemicals bled
bright red
out of
tubular metal

coffin beds.
