And so, the end is near
the daylight turns darker

little by little
we frail away

waiting for Angels
to save our day
and harken—

a New Year 

after a little rise 
of forced/ and not forced
Cheer!

    Hard to get too excited about the New Year… I think..but now we are almost in February…and The Horsemen of the Apocolypse have not yet saddled up..so.. we can keep writing poetry awhile longer
