Hafiz is a 14th Century Persian Poet and a huge influence in my own Poetry. I love this book of his poems translated by, Daniel Ladinsky, an American Poet and interpreter of Mystical Poetry.

Does anyone else here love this amazing and influential Sufi Poet?

I absolutely adore Hafiz’s work. He captured nature and harnessed it in his spiritual world. His poetry is simple and richly profound. ‘Buttering the sky’ is one of my favourites.
