Mannequin

i’ve been gripped

by the love

of this mannequin

i have no malice

you were made

to service

your purpose

a window that

exposes the need

of human surplus

dressed in regalia

to hide the greed

of the broken wings

of the Sapien breed

hollow legs, sullen eyes

plastic – hinged – mannequin

I hold no malice against

Your

hardened- suckled – veneer

you wear it well my dear.
