New Work up and Live in my Art Shop!
Another design I created from my original oil pastel “Universal Day and Night” . I used the Figma platform integrating the clean lines of the star shape and played around with color and filters.

Creating collages from my original art
New Collage Work created in Figma
I’ve been making several iterations of this collage in the Figma platform, using my original oil pastel “Universal Day and NIght”
I love juxtaposing my original artwork with the clean lines and filter tools in Figma. It creates awesome variations and depth with great layering results. I am a colorist and abstract artist at heart, and have always painted fast and furious so this technique is perfect for me. I would love to hear your feedback on this piece.

New Artwork available in my Society6 art shop!
This is called “Universal Day and Night Collage”
The time between day and night abstracted and captured in this oil pastel.
Dusk is my favorite time of day. I love seeing the moon and stars emerge a bit as the sunsets and the day melts into night.
I’ve created this collage format of my original pastel with various filters added for texture and interest.
You can view and purchase different framed prints and canvas prints or unique metal prints in my shop.

Tonight
Tonight
grab a handful of stars
throw them into the wind and listen for your song
the twilight ignites
and dances a tarantella for you and your love
take note of their steps
for they are quick and burn fast.
